Manufacturers in the industrial sector often have the problem of justifying high prices for products that appear visually inferior to those purchased in the high street. Increasingly, this type of product is a 'prestigious purchase', which will be sited in a well designed modern office, warehouse or factory environment. A particular design approach is required as many industrial products have a high degree of technical functionality, which must be clearly understood by the user as well as being fast and easy to maintain. Production techniques often need to take account of small batch sizes and the product appearance requires durability which relates to a potentially long product life.

LA, with their understanding of both large and small complex products with multi-functional features, are expert at focusing on the user, who many have a low-level of technical expertise but sometimes operates highly technical equipment.
