Developing a new
product range
ABOUT
Vulkan was an established brand with a product range that was being extensively copied, diminishing its USP and creating competitive pricing problems. LA worked with Vulkan to develop a range of sport supports that were easy to fit, very comfortable to wear and provided targeted reinforcement where it was needed. This was achieved by incorporating much softer materials
with silicone as a jointing material to create uniform stretching and printed silicone to target specific soft tissue areas. The ‘high value’ proposition was prototyped and tested during extensive user group sessions and the final solution, with a new logo, radically changed the brand perception and appealed to a much larger demographic.
